Within the tool manufacturing sector we are part of a national project of a Competence centre for human resource development in the field of toolmaking, which falls under activity C25 – Manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment. In addition to the project office (TECOS) and the competence partner (Kompetenca d.o.o.), the project includes 16 companies. 

The main result of the project, which will be completed on 31 December 2018, is a practically applicable competence model with defined competences for key employee profiles at companies within the sector. The training includes management competences, introducing changes, social and sales skills and human resource management skills, and introduction of digitalisation, as well as specific technological skills ranging from machine operation to software tools for product development, introduction of standardisation, robotisation, and toolmaking materials and technologies.
